Software Build Engineer
Software Build Engineer - A leading company who specialise in protecting some of the worlds most security conscious organisations require a highly talented and creative Software Build Engineer. The successful candidate will work in a small, dynamic team developing, updating and maintaining automated build and test systems.
Role (Accountabilities)
You will be responsible for:
Developing cross-platform, distributed, automated build and test systems
Re-factor, integrate, and extend existing tools and infrastructure
Help define and create internal tools to improve overall engineering productivity
Documenting the design and use of the build and test systems
Training new starters and existing staff
Skills
Cross-platform experience in Windows and Unix
Strong scripting language experience required, python preferred and others a plus
Previous experience developing or maintaining complex, automated build and test systems
Familiar with Windows and Linux build tools and packaging processes (e.g. GNU make, msbuild, nmake, etc.)
Self motivated and able to work independently
Articulate in both written and verbal communication
