ROLE:
The role will involve all elements of technical consulting within given projects. The successful candidate will be involved with projects mainly from a technical design, development and deployment perspective but will also need to be able to professionally carry out functional scoping and design tasks.
You could at any time be working on several projects so excellent time management is essential. The role will also involve close working relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues and customers. In addition to this there will be an element of assisting with sales proposals and researching and exploring new products and technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Technical and functional design and analysis
b) Development of both server and client side functionality
c) Unit and acceptance testing
d) Implementation, deployment & documentation
f) Technical lead in projects
g) Contributing to sales proposals
h) Research into new products and technologies
i) UI design (web and windows)
j) Client facing analysis & delivery.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2-3 years software development, design and deployment experience in a number of differing commercial environments.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
a) C# and .NET
b) T-SQL
c) Jscript / JavaScript.
d) Experience of the full software development life cycle
e) Object Oriented design methods
f) Design and development in a client/server environment
g) A demonstrable appreciation of the consequences of technical and functional decisions made during solution design and implementation
h) Full UK driving licence.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) VB.Net
b) HTML and ASPX development.
c) Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other CRM application
d) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
